Bio

I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to be when I grew up. After getting my music degree and considering then nixing nursing (brain’s not wired for chemistry or physics that way), I worked a couple odd jobs including event coordinator at a convention center, and jazz music presenter and booking agent at a non-profit. I learned back-end dev while doing updates for the non-profit’s site. This is when my path shifted from events to code. I spent two years on the EllisLab dev team where I worked on ExpressionEngine, CodeIgniter and MojoMotor. Now I’m at nGen!

Carl says I’m the right kind of crazy to be here and I’d have to agree with that statement.
