Peterbrooke Chocolatier

Like fine artists, Peterbrooke Chocolatier creates its mouth-watering masterpieces by skillfully blending special milk, dark and white chocolate which is molded, enrobed and hand-dipped. Founded in 1983 in a quaint historical neighborhood in San Marco, its visionary owner, Phyllis Geiger, named her business after her children Peter and Brooke.

Approach

As Peterbrooke got larger, they needed to maintain the idea of the neighborhood chocolatier, not be seen as a large corporate chain. They also needed to show their passion for quality and the fun side of making chocolate. At the same time they needed to look established and growing in order to maintain a booming franchising business.

Using bright colors, playful imagery and typography shows the fun side as well as promoting the neighborhood shop feel of the company. Testimonials about running a franchise help sell the corporate side of the company in a very warm and human way. As a company with seasonal sales, themes for Christmas and Valentines are easy to implement to get shoppers in the holiday spirit as well as countdown graphics to encourage them to buy now.
