Hashrocket
Hashrocket is an expert consultancy group that uses best-of-breed technologies like Ruby on Rails to deliver the highest quality software in the least amount of time. They are shattering the concepts of development by offering products like 3-2-1 Launch in which the company will actually develop a version 1.0 of a customer’s website in 3 days.
Approach
Given the unique product offered by Hashrocket, we needed an identity and website that created both a credible and innovative presence that their audience, start-ups and venture capitalists, could believe in. It also needed to promote Obie Fernandez because of his strong name recognition in the industry while making sure it showed a strong team behind him.
We wanted to create an advanced but simple feel with an open, relaxed and innovative atmosphere. To accomplish this we used colors that appeal to the scientific, space-age feel, which created a sleek, futuristic environment. An unorthodox layout which placed the branding elements at the bottom of the page and locking it so that the content flowed underneath the bottom banner gave the feeling of Hashrocket approaching things differently. Background images of smoke formations and the sense of blasting off reinforced the name Haskrocket and the key product 3-2-1 Launch.
