Happy Webbies
We fell in love with the Happy Bunnies as soon as we saw them. Who can forget that cute furry rabbit saying “You’re ugly and that makes me sad” or “Hating you makes me all warm inside”? Instant classics. Then one day someone stole all our Happy Bunny magnets, and we said, “We’ll make our own!” So we did. That was the birth of Happy Webbies. Basically Happy Webbies are like Happy Bunnies, but for web nerds.
Approach
By focusing on the great cast of characters in web development, and our own talents in design, illustration and saying funny things, we started listing out the people we respected who we thought could take a joke. Merging the benefits of happy hours with Happy Webbies we came up with what we hoped would make the web world laugh. Lucky for us they did, and Happy Webbies is a success.
