ExperienceJax
ExperienceJax is a community driven calendar that keeps everyone informed of the arts and entertainment options available throughout the city of Jacksonville. The core theme of the calendar is allowing everyone to contribute to the events that are listed. From a poetry reading in Riverside to a metal band at the beaches, all aspects of the city’s culture can be represented.
Approach
nGen Works and the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville worked hand-in-hand to determine the best way to bring ExperienceJax to life. By talking with community leaders, venue owners, artists and the general public, a strategy was agreed upon. The calendar had to be simple and powerful. Perhaps most importantly, the calendar has to stay true to its mission of giving users information on what’s happening and performers and venues a simple way to promote their events.
