Cliqset
Cliqset is an online community that serves as a social hub where people can share content, converse and connect in real-time.
Approach
When a site’s purpose is to be part of a user’s daily life, a great UI takes on new importance. Cliqset had laid a foundation with previous beta sites that mainly delivered core services to developers; when it was time to take functionality to its maximum for both developers and users, they called on nGen Works. Our marching orders were clear: deliver a killer user experience and design for an app like no other before it.
To engage potential users on the marketing site and convey the promise of how easy the app is to use, we designed fun, friendly characters that capture the essence of Cliqset and crafted clear messages to quickly define the feature-rich service. On the app side, we built clean but powerful functionality for a complex site that’s beyond robust, letting users pull in content from nearly 70 social networks and services, update their status, share content, have real-time discussions and more. Since launch, Cliqset continues to attract the right kind of attention in the tech press and, more importantly, among users for its ease of use, sleek interface and fresh design.
