Top Secret Teaser

Does anyone else miss creative free-form-art-table-time in kindergarden as much as we do?
As designers, Varick and I are always trying to stay inspired. We’re constantly looking for material to keep us motivated and moving forward. When it’s a production heavy week, full of CMSes and code, it can be really hard to get back into design mode when you need to.
We’ve got something brewing to solve this problem. Somewhere to play and grow. Somewhere that rules don’t apply and the only “work” to be done is stretching creative muscles.
So stay tuned as we prepare the launch of our new project, The Danger Room.

I am assuming there will be giant mutant-hunting robot holograms. Every Danger Room should have them.
Designers/Comic Book Nerds everywhere are waiting with anticipation for the launch.

We’ve got a little something like that at my office. It’s a music room that’s only for listening to or composing new music. We’ve got a bunch of songs on an iPod hooked to a Hi-Fi deal along with a guitar, keyboard, and a Mac with some recording software on it. Music usually helps designers with colors and moods.

You guys dedicated a room to me? Awesome. :) Anyway – sounds like a great idea and I love the name.

@Ron – So glad you got the reference!
@Scott – That is such a rad idea. I’m sure it helps if everyone plays instruments, otherwise it could HINDER productivity :)
@Keith – Yes, we’ll expect you to make an appearance at the grand opening and cut the ribbon.

Hey guys,
Will it be running on a native Shi’ar operating system? And if so will the hard light holograms have a problem interfacing with Mac OS X Leopard?
Have fun,

I hate when I am running the Shi’ar Operating System and get the Dark Phoenix icon. That’s when you really wish that you’ve backed up your hard drive recently.

One thing i do to get back in “creative mode” is pick up the latest issue of Juxtapoz magazine of even Computer Arts magazine. Those two always give my brain a jump start back into the idea playground.-B.
