Shhhhh . . . We put the new site live today

That’s right, the new nGen Works’ website launched today. We’re keeping it quiet until we finish piling in the awesome, but we’re glad you found us.

As you can see on the homepage header, the new site puts a real focus on our featured projects. We also made Projects the first navigation point (after Home) in the primary nav. This was critical based on the information we got from customers, prospects and analytics alike.

Here is the order we found most people want to learn about us:

You’ll notice in the main navigation we chose to move “Team” down the list from where the research recommended we put it. The main reason was it just felt too self-centered to have ourselves ahead of our clients.

So take your coat off and have a look around. And by all means, please let us know what you think.

Thank you sir.

We’ve got some more work to do, but the core is in place and it feels damn good.

Very bold. I like it. I’m especially digging the details.

hey guys – great job on the new site. I think the information is sectioned off very nicely. Great use of hidden divs, etc. I think my only constructive critism would be the main header looks a little off to me in the sense that is had a dark fade on the outside to black but it isn’t fade all the way (if that makes sense).

Other than that, I think showcasing your projects is a very strong thing to do. I also like the color scheme. Keep it up!

Good job on the new site. I really like the focus on projects right from the start.

“Cleanliness is next to godliness”…and I love how clean the new site looks…

Props, props and more props on the new site! I like it a lot – a much more straightforward navigation scheme makes this site pretty user-friendly. Also like how the look has been simplified, all the way down to the choice of typefaces. And yes, I agree with everyone else on the color scheme. Nice and bold (and this coming from someone who normally prefers cooler rather than warmer colors).

Can’t wait to see what else is in store!

Cool – I especially like the phrase;

People are the center of the web

So true and so ofter overlooked – again it is not the technology it is the people, people.

Awww you guys. You say the nicest things.

Seems like our plan for world wide web domination is coming together nicely.

(Rubbing hands together and laughing maniacally)

Alright, back to work.

I’m late to the table, but wanted to share the love, too. The site looks great! Strong structure and user-friendly. Now for the rest of the world to catch up…
