Happy Webbies

A couple of years ago at the HOW Conference we found a store that had a ton of these magnets with cute bunnies and mean sayings. We had never before seen such brilliant contradiction and we fell in love with Happy Bunnies. When we got back to Jax, we put them on the fridge to give us a laugh with each passing beer.
A few months later we were thawing out the refrigerator on the street in front of our office and some jerk swiped our magnets. Crime in America, film at 11:00pm.
So we did what any red-blooded web development firm would do. We created our own. Only with a twist. We created magnets with our faces and mean web dork sayings.
Today we are proud to unveil the evolution of Happy Webbies.
Happy Webbies takes the idea beyond the four walls of nGen and out to some of our interweb faves.
We have a lot planned for this little project. There’s a list of people to recreate as Happy Webbies, rude things we want them to say and different ways to share the geeky meanness. I didn’t even mention the special editions. (Look out Brits, we’re coming for you!)
If you’d like to nominate someone for Happy Webbies, or if you have a nasty thing for them to say, let us know by sending an email to

These rock. I’m going to be the first kid on my block to collect them all. How many happy meals do I have to buy?

Not happy meals Jason, Happy Webbies.
And we recommend you collect all four. Then we’ll make more.

I tried to show these Zeld and Meyers here in Chicago at An Event Apart, but alas lines too long. They’ll just have to wait and see them on the internets.
