AIGA Jacksonville’s Portfolio Panel - Portfolio Dos & Don’ts
Posted by: nGen Works on Wednesday March 25, 2009
This Thursday, March 26, at 6:30pm at the Art Institute, I’ll be moderating an AIGA Jacksonville panel about “Portfolio Dos & Don’ts.” I’ll be looking to unveil tips and tricks from resident professionals, as well as learning from their mistakes and successes as it relates to presenting portfolios. Whether you’re looking for a new job or just wanting to keep current, students and professionals can both expect to get some rich nuggets of knowledge from this panel.
Graduating students – this is a great opportunity to get some last minute notes to fine-tune your portfolios before the AIGA Jacksonville Portfolio Review coming up in April.
Hope to see you guys there!
Panelists
David Smith – Axis Design Solutions
Rob Knox – PGA Tour
Patrick Carter – The Kurtis Group
Dennis Eusebio – Thought & Theory
Karen Kurycki – The Kurtis Group
Moderated by Varick Rosete – nGen Works

Hey Judson! No worries, man. It was a great panel. Really good back and forth conversations between the panelists.
AIGA Jacksonville is working on getting together a follow-up to the panel with some links and PDFs.
And although we don’t have a video, I think an audio version of the talk should be available pretty soon, too.
Thanks for your interest in it, man!
Hopefully we’ll see you at the next events!

Good stuff! I’ll have to keep a look out for the audio.
Definitely. Starting the college search, and starting to notice that my portfolio is more or less non-existent at the moment, gotta get that ready before the fall :).
